Pics

It's amazing what some good rest, and a content baby, will do for one's perspective.

Yesterday's post was on the heels of no rest and a fussy baby. You see, Ellie has lost more than 10% of her birth weight and is jaundiced. Therefore, we've been a bit stressed while we work hard to feed her as much as possible and keep her on the bilibed. (Tip o' the hat to RAA.)

Today we visit the pediatrician to find out if our hard work has paid dividends. In the meantime, here are some pics:

ED: Hotlinks in the main post are easy. When you're in the composition screen, there are little icons above the white box. One of them is italics, one bold, and then there's this little weird one that looks like a paper clip. Highlight the relevant text [right click and drag, release right click], click on the attach icon, and key in the relevant url. I copy and paste from a different screen usually, so I get a good link. To check your work, put your post in preview mode and put your mouse over the highlighted text. In the lower left corner of your screen [way, way down], the url will appear. [this is also good to hover over before you hit a link that might be forbidden.]

It's a whole nother matter putting a hotlink in a comment and requires the html code. I can email that to you if you require.

She's gorgeous, by the way.

Congratulations once again.

She is gorgeous! I'm not just saying that either to be nice:) She definitely is one of the pretty babies! I hope you like the pediatrician - that's who Kinsey sees a lot! It's a hard job the first couple months, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I gave Katie the Happiest Baby DVD to give to you both (those 5 S's work miracles!)

Well she doesn't look like her beautiful, amazing Aunt Laurie but she is gorgeous none the less!!!! Thank you for sharing the pictures. I'm glad she is putting the weight back on...phew must not take after her ol'dad.
