Get up, stand up

The person I like to refer to as RAA, also known as the optimist mom, asked in the prior post is Ellie cruising or walking? To which EM responded cruising (and lots of it I might add). The timing of her question couldn't be more apropos as starting yesterday, but becoming vastly more noticeable today, Ellie has been standing and letting go of whatever it is she pulled up from. She just stands there and takes it all in; I'd love to know what she's thinking. I do know this: can walking be far off?!

You and Theresa should sit on the floor a few feet apart with Ellie in the middle, and call her to walk to each of you - people told us that usually works, and it did for Kinsey too! Then the fun begins! Her pictures are adorable!

correction: The Maternal Optimist...ya know, like the eternal optimist, only motherly?

She'll go through some 'controlled falls' into waiting arms and then it's Ellie-bar-the-door. Your life will change for the better when she starts walking!
