Still playing catch up...

As noted earlier, our computer was down for a while and, consequently, we've been playing catch up with all things computer related which includes uploading photos and updating this blog. The last bit of that updating has to do with Ellie's baptism which took place July 7.

Ellie was very well-behaved throughout, and she looked beautiful (as usual) in her christening gown that her grammy made for her. In attendance that day, besides Ellie, ED and EM, were grandpa, nanny, grammy, Aunt Laurie, Uncle Bill (godfather), Aunt Dani, AK (godmother) and Jay. After the ceremony we all went to the home of grandpa and nanny for dinner.

Finally, I would be remiss if I did not note that today Ellie is four weeks old. It's been a tremendous four weeks just having Ellie in our lives. It's been made more special by the outpouring of support and good will sent our way. EM and I are doing our best to let everyone know we appreciate their generosity and well wishes, and we're not yet done doing so. However, I thought as I now reflect on this joyous event and all that's come with it I should briefly say just how truly thankful and fortunate we are for everyone who has shared this blessing with us. THANKS!

Glad to hear she's been baptized. You just gave your daughter the most wonderful eternal gift ever. Was it done at Nanny's church? The vestibule looks unfamiliar, but I see O.L. Guadalupe in the background.

You know your stuff, RAA (not to suggest I thought you don't know your stuff)... Nanny goes to St. Francis.
