Let me be the first to announce that I swear to serve and protect Ellie, and all of humanity, from poop of any kind....human or animal.
Had I been home, I think my response would have been: "Yes, in a manner of speaking, she does protect us from poop." I think the hard part of the conversation will be when I have to explain to her that I help poop.
